Navvis is thrilled to announce that Becker’s Healthcare has named Montez Fitzpatrick among its Black Healthcare Leaders to Know for 2023. The honorees on this list are recognized for fostering positive patient experiences, paving the way for the next generation of leaders, and promoting health equity.
As Navvis’ Chief Information Security Officer, Montez leads day-to-day security and risk management efforts across all aspects of Navvis’ technology operation and infrastructure. As the creator of the organization’s current information security program, Montez also develops the strategic vision for our data and information security. In addition, he is at the helm of Navvis’ diversity, equity and inclusion committee.
Montez is an active leader in organizations that support Black and other underrepresented minorities in the cybersecurity and IT industries. He serves as a mentor at CyberUp, a nonprofit that supports high school students in the St. Louis area who seek careers in cybersecurity. Montez also serves as a mentor through Cyversity, an organization committed to achieving greater representation of women and underrepresented minorities in the cybersecurity industry. In this role, Montez mentors professionals of color who seek to enter into the cybersecurity field.
