Navvis Earns NCQA Prevalidation for Population Health Management

Navvis Achieves Milestone with Coreo Analytics 3.2+ and Further Strengthens Market-Based Approach to Population Health

St. Louis, MO, Apr. 28, 2020 – Navvis, a leading population health company, today announced achieving National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Prevalidation for Population Health Management. Coreo Analytics 3.2+, a core component of the company’s population health platform, earned Health Plan and Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization Accreditation for 2018 through 2020, and Population Health Program Accreditation for 2019.

This milestone demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to the highest levels of quality and value across its market-based population health solutions. Additionally, Navvis health plan clients will be able to more easily achieve NCQA accreditation as a result of Coreo Analytics 3.2+ achieving prevalidation.

“The Population Health Management Programs from NCQA align with the focus on person-centered population health management,” said Margaret E. O’Kane, President, NCQA. “Not only does this designation add value to existing quality improvement efforts, it also demonstrates an organization’s highest level of commitment to improving the quality of care that meets people’s needs.”

“More than 176 million people are enrolled in an NCQA-Accredited health plan, and NCQA represents the gold standard of quality in healthcare,” said Mike Farris chairman and chief executive officer of Navvis. “At Navvis, our mission is to reimagine population health with a system that never stops caring for people. This recognition by NCQA assures our client partners that our programs meet the highest quality standards.”

NCQA’s Population Health Management Prevalidation reviews population health management tools, data integration tools, risk stratification tools, care management systems tools and other related health technology solutions providing functionality that completely meet or support factor-level requirements within applicable NCQA Population Health Management standards in Health Plan Accreditation, Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization Accreditation, and Population Health Program Accreditation.

The rigorous evaluation process included demonstrating integration of various data sources including claims, labs, qualitative survey results, EMRs, and other data types; comprehensive reporting on populations including but not limited to social determinants of health (SDoH); reporting on the needs of various subpopulations including high risk, children and adolescent, individuals with disabilities and serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Dual, and Special Needs populations; and segmenting entire populations into subsets for targeted interventions.
