Laura Irwin

With more than 30 years of experience in executive roles at hospitals and health systems across the country, Laura is a proven healthcare leader with expertise in operations, value-based care strategy and delivery, and physician practice management.

Laura has led a wide range of provider and non-clinical teams, improving operational performance, increasing quality, and reducing costs. She is an expert in operational performance, financial management, provider alignment and engagement, and strategies to improve patient access.

Laura serves as Navvis’ Market President. In this role she has responsibility for the successful implementation and ongoing operation of our market-based population health solution. She is bringing together leading health systems and health plans to deliver a patient-centered, physician-led value-based model that is driving performance in a wide range of value-based care contracts.

Prior to joining Navvis, Laura served as Vice President of Northeast Anesthesia Operations for Envision Healthcare. There she led a team of more than 750 clinical and non-clinical staff, primarily in the New Jersey market. Her leadership resulted in the advancement of physician-centric compensation models with strategies to increase quality of care and reduce costs.

Laura was also an executive leader for Tenet Healthcare in Philadelphia, PA. In this role she led practice management and operations for more than 400 providers at two large academic medical centers. Prior to Tenet, Laura served as Chief Operating Officer for Sacred Heart Medical Group at Sacred Heart Health System, providing practice and MSO management for providers across the Florida Panhandle.

Laura earned a Master of Business Administration in medical practice management from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She is Board Certified for Practice Management through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), where she also serves as a Fellow.
