Courtney Fortner, a forward-thinking healthcare innovator, has consistently developed and implemented groundbreaking solutions that drive healthcare transformation and improve operational performance for health systems, physician enterprises, and health plans. As Navvis’ President and Chief Executive Officer, she is dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry by ensuring that physician-led and patient-centric care remains the foundation of care delivery across the country.  Her innovative approach has been key to building strong partnerships with clients , physicians, and other healthcare stakeholders, setting the stage for a new era of care delivery and advancement.

Under Courtney’s leadership, Navvis has experienced exponential growth, now managing over 3 million patient lives across 11 markets and cementing its status as a national leader in value-based care and healthcare transformation. Her ability to develop and implement innovative solutions has been instrumental in helping Navvis’ health system, physician enterprise, and health plan partners achieve top-tier value-based care performance.

As President and CEO, Courtney focuses on accelerating Navvis’ growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company’s capabilities to enable better care affordability, quality, access, experience, and equity. Her deep understanding of healthcare operations and acumen for transforming healthcare delivery make her uniquely qualified to lead Navvis in its mission to transform the industry and drive performance.

Throughout her tenure at Navvis, Courtney served in several strategic roles, including Florida Market President and SVP of Practice Optimization, Chief Client Services Officer, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, she guided physicians and health systems in the transition towards value-based payments, coordinated care management for high-risk patients, and shared data analysis with stakeholders to improve performance and grow Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).

Prior to joining Navvis, Courtney gained valuable experience in various roles at Northeast Georgia Health System, a nationally recognized hospital, and as a leader at Evolent Health. She worked at the point of care, learning firsthand how healthcare truly operates. Courtney successfully implemented a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model, achieving Level 3 NCQA accreditation, and served as a patient advocate in the emergency department, honing her skills in patient-centered care, quality, and satisfaction. Her leadership experience at Evolent Health further reinforced her expertise in driving healthcare transformation and operational excellence.

Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Baker College and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from Lanier Technical College.
